HOW A CUSTOMER PAYS WITH ZIPPAY
The merchant starts the transaction from the Point of Sale (POS) the same way as an ordinary card transaction. Now it's over to the Payment Terminal and Customer!

What is zipPay?

What is the relationship between Quest Payment Systems and zipPay?

Quest and zipPay (part of zipMoney ASX:ZML) have partnered to ensure zipPay is available as a form of payment to all Quest merchants in retail, hospitality and services in Australia.
To accept zipPay you’ll need to sign up for a merchant facility with zipMoney - Quest can help introduce you to zipMoney and step you through this process. Once you have signed up for zipPay, Quest will then help configure you payment terminal to accept zipPay.

Your customers will only ever pay one monthly service fee of $6/mth for any month they have an outstanding balance – regardless of how many purchases they make. No interest or no other hidden fees!

Once zipPay have approved your application, Quest will then arrange to upgrade or ship your new payment terminal . zipPay will directly provide you with all the in-store materials you need to make zipPay a success in your store!
How can I make sure customer's know I accept zipPay?
Once your application has been approved, zipPay will send out a set of materials to display in your store:
• zipPay ‘accepted here’ sticker for the front of your store/s
• zipPay ‘accepted here’ POS stand to sit next to your registers/s
It is important to display these prominently, as zipPay users are more likely to spend more if they know that zipPay is accepted from the time they enter your store.
How do I provide a receipt?
zipPay receipts are just like normal EFTPOS receipts and are printed out along with your POS receipt.
Are zipPay transactions secure?
zipPay transactions are extremely secure. Every transaction is authorised online to the zipPay host and users provide a one-use zipPay Store Code which is only valid for 5 minutes.
zipPay stand behind their security - once a transaction is authorised by zipPay, they guarantee settlement of funds i.e. zipPay assume all credit and fraud risk. Merchants are never responsible for collecting any consumer repayments or defaults.
How do I get paid?
zipPay settle all transactions with merchants same-day if the order was completed prior to 4pm AEST Monday to Friday. All transactions after the cut off time will be paid the next business day. The payment is made net of the agreed merchant service fee. Once a transaction is authorised by zipPay, they guarantee settlement of funds i.e. zipPay assume all credit and fraud risk. Merchants are never responsible for collecting any consumer repayments or defaults. We collect repayments back from the customer over time.
How much does it cost?
You must sign up for a zipPay merchant facility directly with zipMoney (Quest can help introduce you – enquire below). zipPay will charge you one small flat fee (%) per transaction, so you only pay when you sell. There are no setup fees, no monthly charges, no commitments and no surprises. The merchant service fee varies depending on trading volume.
For your customers, at the end of every billing month they can choose to pay off their balance in full, or simply make a payment that suits their budget (minimum repayment of at least $40 per month required). A $6 monthly service fee will be added to the consumer’s account for any month there is an outstanding balance. No balance, no fees!
How can I view my transaction history?
You can view your zipPay transactions using your existing EftposPlus or Cloud EFTPOS reporting. These transactions will be displayed with a card type of ‘zipPay’ and can be filtered and totalled accordingly.
Additionally, zipPay offer their own reporting tools which will be made available upon successful merchant application.
